1. Conference Registration:
Registration for the AASAP 2015 Fall Conference is open and can be accessed at the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/aasap-2015-fall-conference-tickets-17782432735
When you log in to the conference registration page, you will find that there are multiple registration options for the conference depending on: 1) when you register (early or regular), 2) how you choose to pay (additional fees are required when paying by credit/debit card), and 3) whether or not you are an AASAP member. Please note that your 2015-2016 membership dues (additional info will be provided in the coming weeks) must be paid by the 2015 Fall Conference in order to receive the member rate.

Regular Registration submitted by September 30, 2015 **For individuals who will pay 2015-2016 AASAP membership dues by the conference

Also on the registration link you can register for either of the two Pre-Conference Workshops that are being offered in conjunction with the conference. Space is limited in each of these dynamic workshops, so consider signing up early!

2. Hotel Information:
The 2015 Fall Conference will be held in the Arlington Hotel in downtown Hot Springs, AR. The following rates have been secured for the conference. Room rate includes a self-service breakfast buffet in the Conference Center on the mornings of Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6th. If you are not staying at The Arlington but would like to purchase a breakfast buffet ticket, they are available on the registration website. If you are staying at the Arlington, you are not required to purchase a breakfast buffet ticket.
The Cut-Off Date (last day AASAP reserved room block is available) is Friday September 4, 2015.
Room Type & Rate
Standard Single/One Adult: $123.00 + Tax
Standard Double/Two Adults: $147.00 + Tax
Standard Triple/Three Adults: $171.00 + Tax
Standard Quad/Four Adults: $195.00 + Tax
Current room tax is 14.5% (tax rates are subject to change).
Instructions: When making an individual guest room reservation, your conference attendees can call The Arlington directly (800.643.1502 or 501.623.7771) or go to www.arlingtonhotel.com , click the “Reservations” tab, enter the correct conference dates, and enter AASAP in the “Promo Code” box. This will pull up Arkansas Association of Student Assistance Programs reserved room block & discounted guest room rate so a room reservation can be made.
3. Call for Proposals
We are now accepting proposals for conference concurrent sessions. The conference theme is “Growing opportunities. Rooted in success.” Proposal submissions should address topics relevant to TRIO programs and personnel such as advocacy, education, technology, best practice, membership, and professional development. Workshop length should be 50 minutes which includes 10 minutes for questions. Proposals need to be submitted by August 15th and will be reviewed based on interest, originality, expertise of presenter(s), and relevance to the conference theme. 4. Call for Moderators
We are looking for volunteers to serve as concurrent session moderators. As a moderator, you will provide a service to both session presenters and participants by making sure each session runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: attending a brief orientation, meeting the speaker before the session, keeping the speaker on time, asking for questions from the audience, and overseeing the session evaluations. Individuals selected to serve as moderators will be contacted prior to the conference for confirmation.
