AASAP Members—One of the great ways that we generate personal contributions for Fair Share is through our Fall Conference Raffle! If you are planning on bringing a raffle prize, please shoot me an email with a few details so I will have a good idea of our raffle set up needs. Also, please refer to the Raffle and Fair Share Guidelines document on the AASAP website conference page for information on the procedures we will be using for ticket purchases and personal giving credit.
Thanks—Jeanette Youngblood, AASAP Past-President/Fair Share Chair

AASAP Conference Committee invites you to submit a workshop proposal for presenting your ideas and sharing your knowledge at the AASAP 2017 Annual conference that will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2017 in Little Rock, AR at Four Points by Sheraton.
The theme for the 2017 conference is:
TRIO Where Magic Happens
We would like to encourage those considering a workshop to think about the following in developing a proposal: generalized topics related to the conference theme in addition to “hot topics” that would be relevant for TRIO professionals like cultural competence, best practices, integration of new technologies, college access and success, adult learners, effective programming for veterans and transition from college to career.
Proposals will be evaluated based on interest, originality, expertise of presenters, and relevance to the conference theme. Plan on 45 minutes for presentation time and 10-15 minutes for questions and discussion. Completed proposal information must be received by August 14, 2017 to allow time for conference schedule planning. Starting as soon as possible, we are reviewing proposals in the order in which they are submitted. An email detailing the final status of selected proposals will be sent no later than September 11, 2017.
Presenters will need to provide their own equipment and materials (LCD projectors, laptops, copies of handouts, etc).
Note: Unfortunately, no honorarium can be offered for these presentations, and all presenters must register for the conference.
